What a nail-biter! We reached our funding goal this morning, and the HOME/GHOST project is a go! Thanks to you, my backers, my word spreaders, my words of encouragement givers, my keepers of the flame!
Tomorrow, I am off to Ventura for 2 days to finish up some recording with Tomas delToro Diaz. Upon my return, I will be updating you all about PHASE 2!

Yes, much lava. It has been flowing for years here…
What are you up to tomorrow night, Thursday? I’m hosting a night of music at AUBERGINE San Rafael, a fly little vintage clothes shop. My homegirl Marjorie Taylor manages the store with panache and has great music through there on Thursday nights, when the San Rafael farmers market is happening.
Myself and a cast of local musical gems will be playing from 5-8 pm…there will be food and drink for all and it’s FREE! Hope to see you there.

After 9 months of planning, Tomas delToro-Diaz and I were able to convene last weekend at my folks’ house in Novato and finish tracking GHOST OF PAYPHONE, my next ep. Tomas produced and wrote with me, and we nurtured the wildest reaches we could make. Only with TDTD could music like this happen. (work in progress below…diggit!)
Man, we love playing at the Park Chalet. Several Crymuscles dates are in the works…we’ll keep ya posted for summer.

Dear tribe, the Crymuscles are going to play a lot this summer. We’re getting things started tomorrow with a FREE SHOW:
2-5pm at the Park Chalet (1000 Great Highway, San Francisco CA 94121)
We play on the back lawn, which opens directly onto Golden Gate Park. People drink beers, eat BBQ, and listen to US: Chris Detrick (guitar/keys), Brian Wilkerson (bass), Aaron Green (drums), Peck (guitar/rhymes) and special guest Adam Bauers (steel guitars).
We can’t think of a more perfect place to get things popping. It’s all about the art of the hang…come on down, people.
